On the 30th of November and the 1st of December the educational event titled “Physics tells… stories of four experiments” took place in the laboratories of Liceo scientifico “A. Scacchi” in Bari. It was an itinerary which was accomplished and led by the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Project students team of the school, whose stages consisted of some of the experiments which traced the path of modern Physics: the photoelectric effect; the determination of the specific charge of the electron by means of Helmholtz’s coils; the construction of a cloud chamber; the detection of cosmic muons by means of the MRPC telescope provided by the EEE Collaboration. The fourth and the fifth classes of the high schools of the territory were invited to the event, to which they participated enthusiastically and in large numbers, from all over the province of Bari. The students managed to deal with the experimental equipments as well as with the theoretical lessons with expertise and self-confidence; they succeeded in conveying the interest which guide them along the wonderful adventure which the study of Physics is. The high school thanks the Department of Physics of the University of Bari and to the INFN division of Bari, for the constant support, both practical and moral, and to the EEE Collaboration, for the opportunities of growth and development which it constantly offers to the students.
