Science inside School
The Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Project – Science in Schools is a special scientific research activity on Cosmic Rays with an innovative and impactful program for the dissemination of scientific culture, resulting from the collaboration between the Museo storico della fisica e Centro studi e ricerche “Enrico Fermi” (CREF) and the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN). EEE indeed involves the installation of tracking telescopes for cosmic muons in Italian schools: students and teachers are involved in all phases, from the construction of the detectors to data analysis. To date, EEE involves 80 Italian high schools and represents a national observatory for monitoring the cosmic ray flux
