Last October 9th, the “Scipione Staffa” Institute of Trinitapoli hosted, for the second time, a delegation of teachers and students from the “Moscow Chemical Lyceum”. The initiative, promoted by the Headmaster professor Carmine Gissi and by professors Giacomo di Staso and Margherita Lafata, representatives of the Extreme Energy Events Project, materialized into a week dedicated to a science and cultural exchange. Thanks to Centro Fermi the students had the chance to take measurements with the cosmic boxes. The data were taken from three different altitude levels under the direction of professor Marina Trimarchi, from the University of Messina. She also gave a lecture on statistics and probability in order to analyze the data collected from the measurements. The results will be presented at the 10^thConference of Centro Fermi project in Turin, next spring. Particularly interesting was the visit organized by professor Marcello Abbrescia, national spokesman of the EEE Project at the Physics Department Interateneo of Bari, where oral and practical lessons were held in laboratories. Finally, the appreciation of the local territory was also an important part of the exchange: in fact, there were several destinations, including the Saltpans, the Gargano promontory and Itria Valley.
