The XIV edition of “Workshop on Resistive Plate Chambers and Related Detectors (RPC 2018)” took place from the 19th to the 23rd of February in Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco State, Mexico). For the scientific community, this biennial event represents the opportunity to talk about the technological developments for these detectors. Researcher from Centro Fermi presented three contributions on the “Multigap Resistive Plate Chambers” (MRPC), used in the EEE Telescopes. The first contribution, with Marcello Abbrescia as speaker, described the future developments of the experiment. The second one, given by Daniele De Gruttola, presented the performance of the telescopes during 14 years of activities. In the third lecture, Silvia Pisano described the progress in the studies on eco-friendly gas mixtures, aiming to a reduction of the “Global Warming Power” of the system. The EEE Project contributed both on technological topics (detector optimization, performances, R&D) as well on scientific topics (with possible new measurements possible with these detectors).
