On December 7, a large group of fifth- and third-year students from Cariati Scientific High School (Cosenza province) visited the EEE cosmic ray telescope installed at the “Fermi” High School in Catanzaro.

This scientific twinning was organized by the respective high school teachers, Prof. Domenico Liguori and Prof. Alessandro Fantini, in collaboration with the Physics Department of UNICAL, represented by Prof. Marco Schioppa.

The visit aimed to strengthen the scientific collaboration between the two institutes within the EEE Project and to show Cariati students the telescope used to study cosmic rays firsthand. The collaboration, started a few months earlier by the two schools, has thus been able to involve students and teachers physically distant from the hosting laboratory in data analysis, fully demonstrating the educational importance of the EEE Project.
