From 7 to 11 September 2026, Florence hosts the 112th National Congress of the Italian Physical Society (SIF), one of the most important annual events for the Italian physics community. The congress brings together researchers, professors, and students from universities, research institutions, and national and international laboratories, providing a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments in scientific research and technological innovation.
The 112th edition is being held at the School of Social Sciences of the Novoli Campus of the University of Florence and represents a key meeting point for the entire physics community, fostering dialogue among disciplines, institutions, and new generations of scholars.
Cristina Ripoli (University of Salerno), a researcher within the EEE Collaboration, presented the contribution entitled:
“The 2025 PolarquEEEst mission: measuring cosmic rays from Italy to Norway with the involvement of students along the route.”
This is an important international showcase for presenting the results and the scientific and educational impact that the EEE Project continues to have, advancing research on cosmic rays while involving an ever-growing number of students and teachers each year.
