International Cosmic Ray Conference – CERN, Geneva

The International Cosmic Ray Conference (ICRC) is a biennial event, first held in 1947, dedicated to research projects and experiments related to cosmic ray physics, high-energy astrophysics, gamma-ray astrophysics, neutrino physics, dark matter, and gravitational-wave astronomy.

Researchers from the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Collaboration took part in the conference with the following contributions:

  • O. Pinazza, High-latitude muon and neutron observation of the Forbush decrease during the May 2024 solar storms, Poster
  • P. La Rocca, Measurement campaigns of the cosmic ray flux at different latitudes within the Extreme Energy Events Project, Poster
  • F. Nozzoli, Characterization of the Piedicastello Tunnels as a Potential Underground Laboratory for Astroparticle Physics in Trento, Italy, Talk
  • L. Ghezzer, Analysis of annual periodicities in the muon rate measured by the EEE detectors installed at the high-latitude site of Ny-Ålesund, Poster
