On the 6th of February the opening ceremony for the EEE telescope, installed in the school ISS Alessandrini – Marino in Teramo, took place. The telescope was installed thanks to the work of Dr. Daniele De Gruttola, researcher of Centro Fermi, and of the students of the school, supervised by Prof. Riccardo Chiucchi. The ceremony took place in presence of Prof. Luisa Cifarelli, President of Centro Fermi, Prof. Stefania Nardini, head teacher of the school and the city authorities, Dr. Edoardo D’Alascio and Dr. Mirko Rossi. The telescope was built at the CERN laboratories by the students and it is currently the third telescope taking data in the region Abruzzo. During the cerimony eleven students were awarded by Prof. Cifarelli. «Our school is participating since a few years to the Extrem Energy Events Project and we are proud of our involvement in this important scientific activity. Students and teachers will continue to be strongly involved in the project»  these are words by Prof. Stefania Nardini. The cerimony ended with a visit of about 200 students that were present to the laboratory hosting the telescope and with the ribbon cutting by Prof. Cifarelli.
