The PolarQuEEEst detectors finally left CERN to their final destinations! Last week their configurations have been optimized and a set of tests have been performed. The results is striking: their efficiency is equalized at the per mille level, opening to the identification of cosmic ray flux differences between the three sites. On June 28th the detectors have been packed in order to protect them from damages during the transport. POLA-01 has left to Iceland: on July 15th a team of EEE researchers will travel to Ísafjörður for its final installation on Nanuq boat, while POLA-02 is travelling to Oslo, where the Nesodden High School will host it until the end of the mission. POLA-03 is already installed and regularly taking data in Bra (Italy) at the Giolitti Gandino High School. In two weeks the three detectors will be ready for the official start of the Polaquest 2018 mission. We are left with just 20 days to prepare everything for the date. The Countdown has started!
